Initiative at the University
On Wednesday, 6 March, a team from B. Braun Business Services Poland participated in the Open Day of the Faculty of Computer Science, Electrical Engineering and Automation at the University of Zielona Góra. With around 1,000 participants each year, this is the largest event of its kind in the Lubuskie Voivodeship.
As a partner of the event, we had the opportunity to meet students and pupils from across the region. Our team introduced the activities of the SSC and the possible career paths within the B Braun group. The modern business services sector is developing very dynamically in Poland - it is forecast that in 2024 the number of people employed in SSC/GBS, BPO, IT and R&D will reach 465,000. Within B. Braun Business Services Poland it is possible to develop a professional career in three main areas - IT, Finance and HR.
Visitors to the event were also invited to get involved in the LearnIT club, which is run by our employees and, since 2018, has helped to develop IT-related skills. Getting involved in our initiative is often the first step towards a professional career in IT.
